This page tells you every detail about getting a military or veteran discount on a Disney cruise.

We're such experts at it. (We've been hyper-focused on military discounts on cruises for over 20 years!)

Check out our special rates on the newest ship, the Disney Wish!

Book a magical Disney voyage by March 11, 2022 and pay only half of your required deposit on the day you make your reservation.

This offer is valid on any new reservation for select Disney cruises departing between June 18, 2022 and May 31, 2023 that does not require final payment at time of booking. Remaining balance will be due at time of final payment. This offer excludes Disney Wish sailings through September 30, 2022.

Are there Military Discounts on Disney Cruises departing in 2022?

Disney announces these last minute. And right now, THERE ARE A TON of ships and dates on which you can get a special, low military rate.

IN ADDITION, we book ALL Disney cruises at a discount – below Disney's lowest rates!

PLUS every day we look for new military discounts on Disney, so you don't have to . . .

So, while we offer a military discount on every Disney cruise,

Disney offers their military discount on a few specific ships and sail dates, and they only give their discount to ACTIVE or RETIRED military members.

And they only give it to the cabin with the military member.

Our military and veteran discounts apply to all Disney cruises and all service members with a DD214 and their spouses and anyone traveling with them.

So, if you can go on one of the cruises Disney is discounting, you'll get BOTH DISCOUNTS (ours and Disney's), for a whopping DOUBLE DISCOUNT ON YOUR DISNEY CRUISE.

Where can you find a list of Disney cruises with military discounts? Right here!

It's not easy to find Disney cruises with military discounts because they are only offered on a few sailings and only a select number of categories with a limited number of cabins.

Once those cabins are filled, the military discount is no longer offered.

So every day we go into Disney's system and see if any new cruise dates have been added, and which ones have been taken away.  Then we update this page accordingly.

You can book them online, or Contact Us for assistance.

Click on each specific sailing to see the discounted rate. It's not shown on the first set of prices you see.

NOTE: As of November 18, Disney's health policy is this:

Currently, Disney Cruise Line continues to require all vaccine-eligible Guests (based on US eligibility requirements) to be fully vaccinated against COVID-19, as defined by the US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), at the time of sailing.

This will be a requirement for all Guests (US and international) ages 5 and up for sailings beginning on or after January 13, 2022.

Guests who are not vaccine-eligible because of age must provide proof of a negative COVID-19 test result (paid for by the Guest) taken between 3 days and 24 hours before their sail date.

Guests ages 5 through 11 may complete this testing requirement in lieu of being fully vaccinated for sailings that depart before January 13, 2022.

Guests 4 years of age and under must complete the testing requirements. The test should be a NAAT test, rapid PCR test or lab-based PCR test.Rapid antigen tests are not accepted.

Search All Disney Cruises and Enjoy the Magic of Discounted Military Rates

The links above will open a cruise search form that already has the "MILITARY" option selected – so all prices shown will reflect Disney's and our military discount.

From there, you can modify any of the search terms, such as destination, dates you'd like to cruise, departure port, cruise line and more, and the prices on those new results shown will still reflect any military rate offered by Disney.

Here's the status of Disney's Vaccine and Testing Requirements, as of October 17, 2021.

Just a few days ago, Disney reversed their policy and now guests aged 11 and younger do not need to be vaccinated.
All guests 12 and older DO NEED TO BE VACCINATED.

Guests age 11 and under must upload proof of a negative pre-trip COVID test to Safe Passage.

The test should be a NAAT test, rapid PCR test or lab-based PCR test. Rapid antigen tests are not accepted.

Obviously, a parent or legal guardian will need to use their own account to provide this information on their behalf.

All Guests, regardless of age and vaccination status, are required to take a COVID-19 test (paid for by Disney Cruise Line and administered by Inspire Diagnostics) at the terminal before boarding.

All Guests on the Panama Canal voyage, regardless of age, must be fully vaccinated in order to sail.

Disney's mask policy is….

All Guests (ages 2 and up, including those who are fully vaccinated against COVID-19) are required to wear face coverings indoors.

Exceptions include when Guests are in their staterooms or actively eating, drinking or taking a photo (while stationary and maintaining an appropriate physical distance).

Face coverings are not required for Guests outdoors while on board the ship and at designated locations. Face coverings may be required in ports of call based on local government requirements.

How do you book a Disney cruise and get your Military Discount applied?

You may book directly here on our site,

as our system is configured to pull in Disney's lowest rate,

AND our discount to calculate the best possible price for you.

As long as you have the 'military' box checked on our booking page,

if there is a special low rate offered for the military,

it will be displayed to you and you can book your cruise on our site at that low rate.

However, after you have booked, Disney will require you to provide evidence of your active or retired military status.

After you have booked, you'll get an email from us explaining how to do that.

Here's the layout for a cabin for 5. See the three bunkeds over there, and the curtain that can be drawn between the adult bed and the kid area. 🙂

Please note: if you have a family of 5 and are trying to book a Disney cruise…

Disney cruise ships only have a few cabins for five, and those are usually not included as one of the cabin types available to book at the discounted military rate.

Disney will also only give their discount to the one cabin with the military member and their children if they are under age 18 and there is not one single cabin that can accommodate the entire family.

Remember, even if no military discount is offered by Disney, we will apply our military discount to all cabins in your group, even if you have multiple cabins with friends and family.

All About the Disney Cruise Military and Veteran Discount

Disney often offers substantial military discounts on sailings with sail dates less than three months away.  But their military discounts appear or go away daily, based on availability.

But even if Disney is not offering a military discount of their own, any military personnel, Veteran or dependent who books a Disney cruise with Military Cruise Deals qualifies for our discount.

Who qualifies for Disney's military discount?

Special Military rates are available to all retired and active U.S. Military personnel (or spouse), including U.S. Air Force, U.S. Army, U.S. Marines, U.S Navy, U.S. Coast Guard, U.S. National Guard, U.S. Army Reserve and U.S. Department of Defense personnel.

Active and retired members (or spouse) of the U.S. military must provide valid identification at the time of check-in.

This offer is limited to a maximum of 1 stateroom per military member (or spouse), per sailing.

A U.S. Military service member (or spouse) is required to sail to take advantage of this offer.

Activated members (or spouse) of the U.S. National Guard or the U.S. Army Reserve must also show active duty orders (must be dated as of January 1st of the previous year to qualify).

What does Disney require for Proof of Eligibility to qualify for their military discount?

Proof of Military ID is required to take advantage of Disney's Military Discounts. Your eligibility must be verified at the time of boarding. Verification documents include one of the following:

    • Copy of Enlistment Papers and a Photo ID

Can you get a military discount on group cruises on Disney?

We absolutely provide our military discount to every cabin in your Disney cruise group, yes!

Before doing anything with Disney please know that the whole group must be booked on a single form of payment. (line of credit, cheque, and CC accepted). The person responsible for paying is also responsible to fill any cabins that are booked, so you have to really want this Disney group!

Disney groups are comprised of at least 8 cabins. One benefit for groups is that each group with at least 16 full-paying guests receives 1 tour conductor credit (this results in 1 person getting a free cruise fare) and a 1-hour cocktail reception.

The deposit varies by group and is due within one week of booking for all cabins in the group on the one form of payment. There is then a second due date about 180 days out where ⅓ of the balance is due, and payment in full due about 60 days out. There is some variance in group contracts with Disney and the payment schedule to go by is the one on the contract.

If you'd like to book a Disney group you will need to contact us to set it up. We can be reached at [email protected] or by calling (866) 964-5482.

How can you save you money even AFTER your cruise is booked and paid for?

Imagine if your travel agent called you and said, "I've been keeping an eye on your cruise. This morning the cruise line lowered the price of your cabin category by $200 per person, and I was able to refare it to that new lower rate. So, I just wanted to let you know that your balance due is now $400 less! That's all. Have a nice day."

Or, "I checked on your cruise status today and there was a free-upgrade offer available, so I can get you moved up from deck 6 to deck 10 if you'd like?" Or an ocean view cabin up to a balcony for free! Things like this happen often and we are happy to help look for opportunities like that for you!

We make phone calls like that on a regular basis because even after our clients' book with us, we STILL are on the lookout for ways they can get more and pay less.

Between the time you book your cruise and your cruise sails, we monitor the cruise line's rate, and if we notice that it becomes less than what you paid, we contact the cruise line and request that they refare your cruise to the new lower rate, upgrade you to a higher category, or provide an onboard credit for the difference. If you notice before we do, call us!
