Do You Have to Own Minecraft to Upload Skins

Hey IronTango

Give thanks yous for taking the time to post this on the Xbox Forums.

In regards to using a custom skin in Minecraft Windows x, you don't demand anything like USBs, every Minecraft skin website that lets you create or choose a skin should accept the selection to Download or Save your skin. When prompted to save the file, select Save.

Past default, the file is saved to your Downloads folder. Make sure that the file name has a .png extension.

To upload your skin to Minecraft and get-go using information technology:

  1. Launch Minecraft and select Skins from the principal carte.
  2. Select Browse peel.
  3. Navigate to the Downloads folder or to the folder where you saved the .png file and select the new skin.

The next time you load your game or create a new one, your character volition be wearing the new skin that y'all created.

I promise this was of some help to you.

This is, thanks, but to remind you, I'm on Xbox, so I'thousand not certain if this would be possible, and if information technology is, so where do I find "Browse Skins" or "Downloads folder". I'm a bit new to the skins, so I actually need some help on it if I desire my own icon if you understand that.

Hey, IronTango then I believe XBF misunderstood your post. You come across fifty-fifty if and then maybe it is possible. The xbox has Microsoft Edge installed by default. You could go to the website called "The Skindex" You could try and find one online and download it. The xbox as well has a file explorer. Information technology should get to the "Downloads Folder" Just similar PC. But that's all I tin can say. I'grand not sure if yous could somehow upload the peel to Minecraft. So that you lot can figure out on your own. Simply I'k pretty sure you cant. Just you can try to if yous experience similar it.

Hey at that place TheIronTango14,

Thanks for reaching out to the Forums for advice on how to potentially beginning using custom skins for Minecraft from Xbox One to Windows. Seeing as this deals with skins specifically and skins are an in game characteristic of Minecraft, I would say that you might take better luck on finding out if this is possible from Mojang Support directly.

When you lot get a chance, contact them and let usa know if that helped.

Cheers for reading!
